  Went in to have a repair done. Asked if it would be possible to have it fixed for the next day or the following. Was told that it wouldnt be an issue and that they had the parts. I explained that it was very sentimental and extremely important to have in the next 2 days due to leaving for Christmas. They said again it would be no problem..... I phoned late the following afternoon (4:15pm) to see if it happened to be ready. I was then told that it would not be ready in time and they had to order parts. I asked why under the circumstances they hadn't called to let me know? So that I had the choice to make other arrangements, so that it could be ready in time. That they new the importance. So I went to pick it up. I asked the gentleman that had initially told me it was no problem, why he told me that he had the parts, and a rush was not issue, and why didnt i get a call letting me know? He just said he needed to order parts and that was it...Then to top it off, a female that also worked there said a Very rude comment and gave me a dirty look like it was my problem... The short of her rude comment was, " well did you have it here for a week, well then"..... That's not the point. The point is dont agree to something you can't fulfil, and communicate with your customer. Will never go back! Went to another Jeweler and explained what had happened to me and they were so nice and accommodating. Even though they also needed to order a part to fix it to what it originally was, they offered to fix in a way were it could still be worn and given at Christmas no problem. And ultimately I didnt have to get those pieces unless I really wanted to, because it would still look nice and function. Why was I not treated with value at Demamont E H Jeweler I don't get. And helped in the way the 2nd Jeweler has? So not happy. Great Christmas spirit Demamont!

  My Mom recommended these guys to me for a ring size enlargement, recalling how good of service she had received years ago. I had a difficult time getting my girlfriends ring size from her, if anyone flat out asked she would have known. By some miracle, I got her ring size on a Thursday, only 8 days before I planned to propose. This put me in a pickle, because I was leaving town for work on Saturday, then to go see her and propose the upcoming Friday. With little hope at the time, as I had visited other shops who all said 2-3 weeks, I went to this shop and talked with one of the employees, told her what was happening, and she pretty much ran to the back to ask if it could be done by the time they closed on Friday. After a quick look, he said it would be done. And it was! Even the price seemed like a great deal to me, somewhere around $50 I think it was.
