  While on route to our long weekend destination in BC, I regrettably discovered the steering cable had snapped on our boat. In a frenzy, I desperately searched Google and discovered JRT Auto & Marine while parked on the side of the road with boat in tow still one hour outside of Cranbrook. I called at 730 AM and was enthusiastically greeted by a concerned and sympathetic business owner (John) who generously offered up his time. We pulled into town and dropped in knowing that things might not turn out as we hoped. Well, John surprised the heck out of us and made the magic happen. He sourced and ordered the part then had it couriered to his location for repair. We left the broken boat in his capable hands and collected it the next day with repairs complete. Oh yes, he not only completed the repairs, he did it quickly and without the "distress" premium we were fearing we'd have to pay. We'd highly recommend John to anyone who needs a boat mechanic! We sincerely appreciate your honesty and willingness to help us out! Thanks John!
